Airbourne 2011: Eastbourne's International Airshow Official DVD or Blu-ray

A dramatic variety of weather ensured some wonderful video footage ranging from the F-16 bursting through clouds of condensation to the parachute teams free-falling out of a cloudless sky.

Fast jets firing flares is a rare sight and teaming up for a flyby with Spifire and Kittyhawk warbirds is even rarer.

Show stars had to be The Red Arrows dancing with some dramatic clouds and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane provided the nostalgia. More RAF support came in the form of a deafening Tornado pair role demonstration and a full complement of training types; Hawk, Tucano, Tutor and King Air.

A cavalcade of world class sport aerobatics and aerial thrills delighted the huge crowds - a truly vintage “Airbourne” event.
